You're no longer a beginner runner, but a formidable RACER! Yup, the organizers recognize the fact you're a racer and placed you in a higher corral...quite flattering! Beating "George" by one second shows you were right on target, he is indeed a great motivator! You're very smart to take it easy this week as to prepare for next weekend. Looking forward to reading your upcoming 10k success story!!!!robison52https://www.blogger.com/profile/02370199642749822405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8183382227911247978.post-52638668541481552982008-05-11T15:58:00.000-04:002008-05-11T15:58:00.000-04:00Thanks Lam!I actually thought of you out in the cr...Thanks Lam!

I actually thought of you out in the crowd today cheering, while I was running. The spectators/crowd really make the race for me.

I'm still on a high from the race. I'm really enjoying running. I hated it as a kid. Although I did play soccer and softball my whole life, but to run a mile+, was the worst. Glad I outgrew that because now as an adult, I truly LOVE it!!

And thanks for the AG Time explanation. Don't they know I am a 20 year old at heart:)

Get ready for Saturday, I know you'll do awesome!!LIrunner9https://www.blogger.com/profile/14473464766700712187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8183382227911247978.post-74927780946876065912008-05-11T15:35:00.000-04:002008-05-11T15:35:00.000-04:00Wow! You already achieved something I've never done in a race, which is to run each successive mile faster than the previous one. Very nice accomplishment.

Glad to hear your training is going so well.

BTW, AG Time is your age adjusted time...which means they adjust your age and sex to a time that allows you to compare with other people of different ages or different sex. I think they try to adjust it to as if you were a 20 year old female...but I'm not sure about this last part. The Laminatorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17171521739644023071noreply@blogger.com
