Had a really good run today. Not sure if it would be considered a tempo run, cause I ran it faster than the previous run, but I'll call it tempo anyway:) The running lingo still is new to me, making me realize I am still a beginner. LOL I ran the same run as yesterday, but again, added another mile to make it 6 for today. The weather was just beautiful. Blue skies and sunny, and just about 60 degrees. Actually got a little hot while running, but nothing like my friend vegasrunner is dealing with. Bruce, wish I could send you cooler temperatures!!! But today, I remembered to bring water and actually wore my fuel belt instead of the camel back. I took water after my 1st, 2nd, and 4th and last miles and really felt good out there.

This is the kind of run I want to be doing for training runs. Do this for 3 days a week, and then kick it up a notch for a tempo (even faster), for 3 days a week. Well, let me not get ahead of myself. Let's see how I feel tomorrow, as I will be out on the road again:) But I rate todays run one of my best since I started back on January 2nd:)

Great run and nice splits. Way to finish strong. I think you'll be able to continue running like you did today. The numbers proved you can do it! Congratulations on having one of your best runs of the year. Keep it up.
