THESE QUADS NEED A DAY OF REST:(

Woke up this morning and my quads were telling me, "I need rest". LOL It even hurt to walk down stairs. Yikes, I got my ass kicked by WiiFit:) So, just hanging out, waiting for tomorrow's run.

LOL note to self . . .DO NOT do too much strength training. Hang in there chica, at least you know you were working those muscles!

Yeah, but it didn't hurt while I was doing it. It felt great. Guess I should have just done it once, instead of hitting retry like 4 times, for each of the 5 exercises I did. Oooops. Live and learn:)

Though it kicked my butt, I do LOVE it, and will get back to it as soon as the soreness goes away. But this time, I will take it nice and SLOW:)

Take it nice and slow tomorrow on your run. It may hurt a little at first but as you warm up your legs should loosen and start feeling better. If they don't I would walk it out and then get a nice stretch in.

Thanks d10, will do. And I'll make sure to run on flat surface as well. I've been thinking of hitting the local H.S. track, as they have a brand new state of the art track that is supposed to have that new age cushion stuff. But I will take it easy, and when I'm done, I'll end with a nice ice bath:)

Had to do something at my daughters school today, so today, tuesday, june 3rd ended up being a rest day too. Quads feel good today, no more achiness when walking down stairs. YEAH!!!!, so one more rest day can't hurt. Now I really can't wait for my run tomorrow!!!!! Oh, and WiiFit is still on hold. LOL

I do agree. We will be a support team for our competitions on October 12th.

My latest hill run has 5 substantial hills on it. I'm not fast on them but I am kicking 'em out!
